NEW! Romantika Piano

Created for a special classical concert event on May 6th in Toronto, Canada, this painting is in the style of vintage posters. In the late 1800s this was called "Affiche Artistique" in Paris. In this period when the age of mass print and lithograph was new, posters like this were used to advertise events and products. Also considered the first "free public art museum", these posters became coveted; people loved them so much they stole them as soon as they were put up. This is why first edition prints of these posters are very rare. Of course, this painting is designed for reproduction as posters or canvas prints.
